Mobile loading ramps, also known as mobile loading docks or yard ramps, are a portable material handling solution. Due to the height difference between the ground and the truck, a ramp is needed to allow pallets to enter the truck trailer or container for faster and more convenient loading and unloading. Common lifting equipment includes fixed scissor lifts and fixed dock levelers. A fixed scissor lift is a vertically lifting platform. First, the goods are loaded onto the scissor lift platform with a forklift, then the lift is activated to raise the platform to the same level as the truck trailer, allowing the forklift to move into the trailer to complete loading and unloading. Fixed dock levelers are commonly used lifting equipment in logistics transfer warehouses or loading docks. Different truck trailers have different heights, and fixed dock levelers, installed at the entrance of the unloading dock, can adjust the slope between the platform and the truck trailer, allowing forklifts to easily enter the truck trailer for loading and unloading. Mobile loading ramps complement these two solutions. In docks with frequent loading and unloading, there are often situations where fixed dock levelers are insufficient; in this case, mobile loading ramps serve as a temporary solution. A mobile loading ramp acts like a movable ramp, connecting the ground and the container loaded on the truck at a certain angle, allowing for loading and unloading anywhere. It is ideal for loading and unloading goods at docks, factories, and other locations.
