Manual Lifting Mobile Loading Ramp

Working condition adaptation is the primary prerequisite for determining the parameters of a mobile loading ramp. The core is to ensure that the equipment parameters perfectly match the actual loading and unloading scenarios and operational needs, avoiding the safety hazards of "using a small horse to pull a large cart" or the cost waste of "using oversized materials." This is also the core logic of selection and design. All parameter settings must revolve around the core needs of the operational scenario, focusing on the following three key dimensions:

1. Load Capacity Parameter Adaptation: Rated load is the core of the load capacity parameter. It needs to be calculated based on the total load capacity of "forklift tare weight + maximum cargo weight," with a 20%-30% safety margin. This is the foundation for ensuring the stability of the equipment structure. For example, an electric forklift with a tare weight of 2.5 tons and a fully loaded cargo of 3 tons has a total load capacity of 5.5 tons. A loading ramp with a rated load capacity ≥ 6 tons should be selected, with an 8-ton model recommended to ensure safety redundancy. Simultaneously, considering the frequency of operation, an 8-ton model can be selected for low-frequency operations (<5 times per day), while a 12-ton or higher model should be selected for high-frequency, high-intensity operations (>20 times per day) to adapt to the needs of heavy-duty forklift operations. In addition, the platform material and thickness parameters must be matched synchronously. For heavy-duty scenarios, high-strength steel must be used, and the platform should feature a diamond-patterned anti-slip design, balancing load-bearing strength and anti-slip performance.

2. Height and Size Compatibility: The height adjustment range must precisely match the height of the main truck bodies used for daily loading and unloading, covering the empty and fully loaded height differences of all commonly used vehicle types to avoid the awkward situation of "not being able to adjust the height" and thus being unable to connect. Ordinary box trucks and high-sided trucks are compatible with a standard adjustment range of 0.9m-1.8m; containers and refrigerated trucks require a 1.1m-2.0m height adjustment model; and low-flatbed trucks and small delivery vehicles are compatible with a 0.7m-1.6m low starting model. Regarding dimensions, the platform width should be 20-30 cm wider than that of a typical forklift to ensure operational safety margins. The total length of the ramp should be set according to the slope requirements; for heavy-duty models (10 tons and above), the total length is recommended to be no less than 11.3 meters to ensure a gentle ramp, improve forklift passage safety, and simultaneously consider mobility and operational flexibility in confined spaces, while reasonably controlling the retraction dimensions.

3. Power and Environmental Adaptability: The power source should be determined based on site conditions and operating frequency. For scenarios without power supply or temporary outdoor operations, a manual hydraulic model can be selected, allowing height adjustment without an external power source. For medium-frequency and high-frequency operations, electric or hybrid models are preferred to improve operational convenience and efficiency. Attention should also be paid to the sealing performance and lifespan of the hydraulic system to ensure no leakage and low noise. In terms of environmental adaptability, outdoor and rainy environments require enhanced anti-slip performance of the countertop and rust prevention treatment of the equipment; corrosive environments such as chemical plants and seaside ports require the use of galvanized countertops to extend the service life of the equipment; indoor operations require control of equipment noise to ensure compliance with environmental protection standards, and it is generally advisable to control the operating noise below 65 decibels.
