Mobile loading ramps are heavy-duty steel structures specifically designed for forklifts, enabling them to safely navigate between the ground and trucks/containers. The manufacturing process for mobile loading ramps includes structural design, steel structure fabrication, welding, machining, assembly, painting, and final testing.
Mobile loading ramps use Q235/Q355 structural steel as the main structure, with rectangular/square tubing on the sides. A checkered steel plate is installed on the top surface of the ramp for anti-slip purposes.
In addition to structural components, there are hydraulic components (including pumps, cylinders, etc.). However, most mobile ramps use a manual hydraulic pump to raise the front end and adjust the height. A large lever allows hydraulic oil to enter the cylinder, slowly raising the ramp platform.
The minimum load capacity of a mobile loading ramp is 6 tons, but it can also be designed and manufactured according to user requirements, with a maximum capacity of 20 tons. Two small ramps at the rear of the mobile loading ramp act as tail tongues, facilitating forklift access to the ramp platform. A rotating baffle at the top connects the container to the mobile loading ramp. The equipment is typically 2.2m wide and 11m long, requiring a 40-foot container for transport. If needed, it can also be shipped in separate 20-foot containers. Generally, one large container can hold five loading ramps. Transporting them individually would incur freight costs exceeding the value of the loading ramps themselves.
